ZestyPDF("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we handle your files, and what rights you have.

What data we collect

Very little. We do not require accounts, we do not ask for your email, and we do not track individual users across sessions. We use privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies, no fingerprinting) to count page views and understand which tools are used most. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify you from it.

How we handle your files

Client-side tools (merge, split, rotate, edit, and others) process files entirely in your browser. Your documents never leave your device. We physically cannot access them.

Server-side tools (compress, unlock, and document conversion) upload your files over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our processing servers. Files are processed immediately and deleted within minutes. Files are never read, analyzed, or shared by any person. The processing is fully automated.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for example, to remember your dark mode preference. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies that follow you across the web.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted services to operate ZestyPDF:

• Vercel — hosting and deployment. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible or similar) — anonymous page view counting, no personal data collected.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to request information about what data we hold (which is essentially none), to request deletion, and to opt out of analytics. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of ZestyPDF after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
