By accessing or using ZestyPDF("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Service description

ZestyPDF provides free online tools for working with PDF files, including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, rotating, and unlocking PDFs. The Service is provided for both personal and commercial use at no cost.

Acceptable use

You agree to use ZestyPDF only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Unlock or decrypt PDF files you do not own or have authorization to access.
• Upload files that contain illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse protections.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

Your files and intellectual property

You own your files. Uploading a file to ZestyPDF does not grant us any rights to that file. We do not read, analyze, sell, or share your documents. Files processed client-side never leave your device. Files processed server-side are deleted automatically within minutes of processing.

ZestyPDF, including its name, design, code, and content, is the intellectual property of ZestyPDF and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do our best to keep the tools accurate and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements.

Always keep backups of important files. Do not rely on ZestyPDF as your only copy of a critical document.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZestyPDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or corruption of files. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (which is zero for the free tier).

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms, abuses the Service, or engages in behavior that harms other users or the infrastructure.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law
